Tasha's Testimonial
I wanted to preface Tasha's testimonial to pause and reflect on the person that Tasha is.
Tasha came to to get her boudoir pictures done after she had a personal conversation with me about assumptions that we make of people, every single day.
It's EXHAUSTING, and I soon realized we had so much in common.
Seriously, people. I empower women. I don't shoot porn, and I'm not an expert in sex toys or anything sex. I'm pretty conservative and vanilla, but I love to cuss.
So don't ask me about things I know nothing of and please stop assuming I must be a freak in the sheets because I love to empower women that choose to take off or keep on as much clothing as they'd like during our time together.
Now, back to Tasha because now that you know what assumptions people have made of me based on my chosen profession, I should tell you Tasha is wonderfully unique. The thing I love about Tasha, is she's an artist with passion. One thing that interests her is bones and taxidermy. I remembered her telling me during her session that it was like giving a new life to something that already lived. And wait a minute - isn't that my passion too? I truly believe when we have our session together, we both come out of this as new people. You're more empowered, and I'm more enlightened and cultured.
I quickly saw some really special qualities in Tasha.
Where others saw something dark, she saw light.
Where others thought she was something she wasn't, she bared her soul to me.
To top it all off, Tasha is a very talented photographer and she's grown so much in finding herself in the past few months since her session took place.
I love watching her work and I can't wait to see what she does with in 2018 and the years to come.
I'm not here to make you something you're not. I'm here to help you embrace it.
Now, I'm handing the rest of this over to Tasha.
I chose to have my boudoir images taken because I was going through a rough patch in life and needed to focus on myself.
I chose Melissa because her images spoke for themselves. I could see that the women she photographed were empowered.
I wanted that.
I was extremely nervous, but Melissa had this way about her that made you instantly click with her. It was a friend photographing me, not a stranger.
My favorite part of the experience was feeling like the complete and total queen I am. Haha, but seriously I really enjoyed how flipping beautiful I felt.
I recommend Melissa to others every day. She brings something to the table that most photographers don't. That's a passion for the way her clients feel. You can't remake that feeling.
